Each 45-minute lesson is tailored to your goals and designed for dedicated owners willing to practice between sessions. We offer support for both basic obedience and behavior modification, covering everything from foundational cues like sit, down, stay, come, place, and heel to addressing more complex behavioral concerns. With our virtual format, you can build lasting results—no matter where you are.
Private Lessons
Our private lessons are held at our training facility in San Diego, CA and are ideal for owners seeking personalized, one-on-one support. Whether you’re working on basic obedience or navigating more complex behavior challenges, each 45-minute session is tailored to your dog’s needs and your goals. We cover foundational skills like sit, down, stay, come, place (go to bed), and heel (loose-leash walking), and offer guidance on behavior modification for issues such as reactivity, anxiety, or impulse control.
In-Home Private Lessons - Available Only in San Diego County
in-home private lessons are perfect for owners who prefer to train their dogs in the comfort of their own space. This option is especially helpful for dogs that are shy, anxious, or reactive in unfamiliar environments, allowing them to focus and progress without added stress. Each 45-minute session is tailored to your dog’s specific needs and can cover obedience training—including commands like sit, down, stay, come, place (go to bed), and heel (walk nicely on a leash)—or behavior modification for concerns such as reactivity, fear, or other household behavior challenges. We come to you, making it easier to create real-life results right at home.
The Puppy Starter
The Puppy Starter lesson is a 1-hour+ single in-home or virtual lesson designed to help you and your new puppy get off to a great start. During this session, we cover essential topics such as house training, exercise, feeding routines, crate training, socialization, and addressing common behaviors like nipping and jumping. Additionally, we lay the foundations for effective leadership, ensuring a positive and structured environment for your puppy.
Board and Train
The board-and-train program offers comprehensive training by having your dog stay at the training school until the program is complete. This program is ideal for owners who lack the time or experience to train their dogs themselves. It provides a strict routine that reinforces new behaviors more effectively than traditional classes, allowing for more consistent and intensive instruction.
Your dog will experience new environments, which helps them feel secure even when away from home. Our training facility is designed to minimize distractions such as children or other pets, creating an ideal setting for learning. A professional trainer will work with your dog every day, providing comprehensive behavior assessments and personalized instruction.
For busy dog owners, the program offers both flexibility and convenience. With your dog fully cared for, you can manage extended travel, major home renovations, or pest control projects without worrying about making special safety accommodations for your pet. All board and train programs require an evaluation at the training facility before booking.
Puppy Obedience Foundation (2 weeks)
Our Puppy Obedience Foundation program is a 2-week board-and-train experience designed for puppies as young as 8 weeks and up to 6 months of age. This purely positive program focuses on essential puppy foundations, including socialization and environmental stability. We also condition owner-puppy engagement, potty training, crate training, and build confidence through fun, mentally stimulating exercises.
On-Leash Obedience (3 weeks)
This 3-week program emphasizes practical, everyday obedience training conducted outdoors with distractions, ensuring high precision in commands. It covers a comprehensive range of skills including manners, socialization with both dogs and people, crate training, and commands such as “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “place” (down on bed and stay until released), loose leash walking, recall (come on command), greeting manners (no jumping), and waiting at doors and gates until released. The package includes essential training tools such as a prong collar, e-collar, 6ft leash, and elevated bed. Additionally, you'll receive a FREE 1- hour private lesson upon completion of the training. This session is designed to familiarize you with the new commands, teach you how to effectively use your training tools, integrate training into daily routines, and learn proper handling techniques for your dog. We also condition owner-puppy engagement, potty training, crate training, and build confidence through fun, mentally stimulating exercises.
Off-leash Obedience (6 weeks)
In addition to covering all commands included in the 3-week program, the 6-week program incorporates off-leash training. Your dog will master performing and maintaining commands without a leash. This comprehensive package includes essential training tools (prong collar, e-collar, 6ft leash, and elevated bed) and a FREE 1-hour private lesson. This session is designed to teach you the new commands, instruct you on using the training tools effectively, integrate training into your daily routine, and provide guidance on proper dog handling techniques.
Behavior Modification (6-8 weeks)
This specialized program targets significant behavioral challenges including dog aggression, reactivity, anxiety, and more. It requires a minimum commitment of 6 weeks, although a consultation is necessary to determine the optimal duration for addressing your dog's specific needs.
